This morning we went to the library for some books and computer time
Then we went to the mall to sit on Santa's lap. The line was short (first time ever) and we got a GREAT picture. Ryan was very happy to sit on Santa's lap and we woke up Madison early enough so her eyes were actually open. Ryan told Santa what he wanted and Santa asked him alot of questions to see if he was a good boy.
Ryan played in the playground area a little bit after the picture and then we grabbed lunch and threw some coins in the fountain.
When we got back from the mall Madison was a PAIN. She cried from 4-9 pm on and off. She ate a TON during that time too and she STILL wasn't happy. Ryan has his Bruce the Moose stuffed animal and we have picked a Pig stuffed animal for Madison. It is the PERFECT animal because SHE is a little piggy herself. She just LOVES to eat.
On Friday Madison and I drove to Scarsdale to meet her godmother Amy. We left pretty early and didn't hit any traffic, it was perfect. It was so nice to catch up with Amy and Madison was a very good girl. Of course Amy spoiled Madison with a bunch of clothes from Emma AND new ones. Thank you Amy!
Madison with Amy and Emma
In the evening we drove down the street to so Madison could meet Colleen, Ken, Kevin, Liam, Great Aunt Barb (already met), Great Uncle Dave, Great Aunt Robbie, and Kelsey. Colleen didn't want to put her down, neither did Great Aunt Robbie. It was fun to watch everyone including Great Uncle Dave's mom Mary busy preparing Thanksgiving feast in the kitchen.
Liam wanted Madison's pacifer and Kevin was amazing with her...giving her hugs and kisses :)
Madison was great the whole day and she was AWAKE from 11 am until we left Colleen's around 8 pm. She took a 10 minute stroller walk nap at Amy's and a 10 minute nap on her blanket at Colleen's but besides that she was wide AWAKE...a new record. So much fun.

Today Madison wore pink...pink stripes...so cute
Ryan had a GREAT day at school. He was allowed to pick out a prize because he can write his FULL NAME in both uppercase and lowercase letters. Miss Sarah says he has the nicest handwriting in the class. He also finished the day on GREEN so that makes us happy.
Coloring with him at home

My two loves
Little Maddie on the monitor
She is sleeping GREAT!! She gets a bottle around 9:30/10 pm and sleeps until 3 am (5 hour stretch). She then wakes up again around 6 am and then around 8:30 am.
This afternoon I had my post partum check up...I am all good and I can FINALLY start exercising again :) I had to leave Madison with Nate and I guess she had a major meltdown. This is how I found her when I got home. Asleep on her playmat in the living room with Toddler Tunes blaring in the background from the TV
The theme at Ryan's school this week is family and today he painted his dad on a rock. Looks like Nate to me.
Sadly my big boy hates getting his picture taken now
We woke up early on Sunday and drove back to PA. When we got home Nate gave me all of my presents and Chipotle for lunch (my favorite). My husband bought me a rain jacket and my wonderful children bought me HUGE peanut butter cups and an October birthstone Pandora charm for Madison's birth.
Ryan played in the leaves while Madison and I took afternoon naps
Babci cut and colored my hair Saturday morning while Ryan went on an adventure with Grandpa W. First Ryan helped him hang Christmas lights but then they went for a walk.
Uncle Mike blew up the big Bills player and hung out with them too :)
After lunch at Babci's, Babci, Grandpa W, Ryan, Maddie, and I drove out to Virgil. We stopped at Hollenbeck's and then drove around Greek Peak,,,nice Saturday afternoon drive.
After an attempt to take me out for my birthday dinner failed (busy Cortaca weekend) we ordered pizza and then watched a movie...How to Train A Dragon.
My BEAUTIFUL children
The whole NY trip was great. I was SUPER nervous about the long drive but my kids were GREAT both ways. While in NY Ryan played with BOTH Grandpa's ALOT and spent some quality movie time with Babci and Grammie. Madison got a chance to meet Grandpa W, Jenae, Crickett and Jason, and Meghan. I relaxed a little with a pedi and dinner out. All in all a GREAT trip. Again THANK YOU THANK YOU to my parents and in laws. You do SO MUCH for me and the kids and I really appreciate it.
