Mom attended a conference this weekend with her students so Babci and GPa came to visit me to help out dad.

Mom at her conference with her students.  She is very proud of them for participating in the college bowl and fitness challenge.

Waiting to eat breakfast this morning, GPa kept me entertained.  Then he let me dip my french fries in his maple syrup (mom is worried I will expect that from now on)

After breakfast I got my hair cut.  Dad HATES it.  Mom told them to cut it too short, her bad.  But I was a VERY good boy during it.

We survived Hurricane Sandy!  We got alot of rain and it was really windy.  We had some water leak into the basement because of a crack in the foundation but we handled it with a make shift tarp and cooler and mom bailed water every hour or so throughout the day on Monday and Monday night.

This morning we went out to breakfast before we said goodbye to Grammie and Grandpa

Then we spent the afternoon being lazy.  Mom's school is closed Mon and Tues because of the storm and my daycare is closed Monday.  We are probably going to lose power at some point tomorrow so it is doubtful that dad will be able to work either.

Mom finally carved her pumpkin this afternoon, pumpkin pig (hers) gummy joe (dad's)

Everyone stay safe and dry the next few days!!  Let's hope Halloween isn't cancelled!

Saturday was a busy day.  Grandpa and Grammie woke up with me and we played downstairs while mom and dad slept in a little.  We ran errands in the morning to prepare for Hurricane Sandy while mom worked Preview Day on campus.  After my nap we met both sets of Haggenmiller's out for dinner.  It was great.  Amanda and I were very good.

Friday was Dad's birthday!  I drew him a birthday card in the morning.  Then mom, dad, Grammie, and Grandpa showed up at my school to watch me march in my Halloween parade.  Mom was worried about my costume but I told her I wanted to be Iron Man in the morning so she only sent that outfit.

I was AWESOME!!  The best marcher in my class.

Happy birthday daddy...you are the best and I love you!!!

Mom bought me a really cool Ironman costume for Halloween but I REFUSE to wear it.  I cry the entire time I am wearing it.  So thankfully Grammie bought me a costume a few weeks ago.  It looks like I am going to be Handy Mandy for Halloween this year.

We spent the weekend in Cortland again for my great grandfather's funeral.  We got into town late Friday night but after visiting Grammie and Grandpa, we stopped at the Homer High School football game to see GPa coach his last game of the season.
